A cooler blend of culture

Album: Peaches ‘I Feel Cream’

Sporting more makeup than ever, Peaches brings new meaning to ‘disco trash’. ‘I Feel Cream’ is the creme brulee of synthetic pop and it’s on this LP that the girl steals the entire cookie jar. Featuring collaborations with Soulwax, Simian Mobile Disco, Digitalism and Drums Of Death, Peaches has constructed a luscious collection of dance tracks including the infectious ‘Serpentine’, ‘Talk To Me’ and the can’t-get-enough-of title number. It’s on this album you’ll hear her voice at its most graceful, especially on transcendent tunes like ‘Mommy Complex’ and ‘Show Stopper’. Even so, as delicate and angelic as she may appear, the gal’s still got vicious lyrical bite.

‘I Feel Cream’ is out through Remote Control.
