HP’s passion for PC music

Hewlett-Packard went all out this week for the launch of its HP Envy Beats Notebook PC. It’s the first HP notebook built for music and engineered to maximise the audio experience. Featuring ‘beats audio technology’ developed by Dr Dre, the notebook comes in a soft-touch, precision-crafted aluminium exterior and boasts state-of-the-art sound. At the launch, held at pop-up venue of sorts ‘HP House’ in South Coogee, were the ubiquitous Ruby Rose and Didier Cohen (sexualities aside, you’d think they were secretly seeing each other since they keep popping up at the same events), actors Gracie Otto and Dieter Brummer, as well as master of electropop, Calvin Harris, who spoilt guests with another of his cunning sets, tunes coming out of a trusty HP Envy Beats Notebook, of course.

The HP Envy Beats Notebook PC retails for RRP $2,199.
