Dita set to deliver titillating lingerie (of course)

We may have lost Ugg boots to the Americans but it seems we have gained Dita Von Teese. Australian company, Lime Door, have secured a collaboration deal with the queen of retro chic to produce a line of lingerie and undergarments. Obviously as a famed burlesque performer this seems the best design route for Von Teese to take, but as her reputation as a style icon continues to grow, whispers of an eventual dress range and other possible categories become louder and louder. For now it’s a lingerie line with a vast sizing chart, and, as a celebrated curvy gal herself Von Teese claims she is “especially excited to be designing with a vast sizing range so that women of all shapes and sizes can have a beautiful, sensual lingerie wardrobe”. The debut collection will be available in Australian later this year, with a planned international release in early 2012.
