One Fell Swoop to open Perth Fashion Festival

Perth Fashion Festival will kick off on Wednesday 19 June at Perth Town Hall, with local label done good, One Fell Swoop, presenting their highly anticipated parade on opening night. Winners of the West Australian Designers of the Year Award, 2011, One Fell Swoop designers Nikolina Ergic and Daniel Romanim met whilst studying fashion at the Central Institute of Technology in Perth. Their Spring/Summer 2012/13 collection, dubbed An Illusive Tribe, is inspired by “notions of kinship” and “the strength and structure of men contrasted by the sensuality of women”.

Other labels whose collections Cream is looking forward to seeing include Ali Charisma, Hendrik Vermeulen, Steph Audino, The Butcher And The Crow, Mec And The Maid, and Gabriel Lage, as well as stellar festival stalwart, Ruth Tarvydas.
