A cooler blend of culture

The perfect Chrissy party music compilation

Chrissy party invitations emailed out? Check. Stocked up on spirits and mixers for most excellent cocktails? Check. Snacks to keep guests energy levels up? Check. But what to play on the boom box?

So far as compilation albums go, one very eclectic one that sums up the hot season nicely is Now: The Hits Of Summer 2013. The trusty collection kicks off with Swedish House Mafia’s very popular Don’t You Worry Child then moves into David Guetta territory (She Wolf featuring Aussie darling Sia), Ne Yo (Let Me Love You), Florence + The Machine (Spectrum), and Maroon 5 (One More Night). Impressed already, and that’s just the first five tracks.

Also featured in the 22-tracklisted are tunes by Nicki Minaj, Rickie-Lee, Havana Brown, Justin Bieber, Robbie Williams, Lana Del Rey, The Killers, Neon Trees and stacks more. Like we said… eclectic.

Pour us another one, then.

Now: The Hits Of Summer 2013 is out through EMI Music.
