New Avalanches album release date getting closer…

One of the most highly anticipated albums in Australian history would have to be the sophomore LP from cut-and-splice masters, The Avalanches.

The band have finally broken the silence on their decade-long absence since releasing their critically acclaimed dubut Since I Left You.

A statement from the group, issued this week, read: “This record is so fucking party, you will die, much more hip-hop than you might expect, and while there is still no estimated time of arrival, were sure you’re gonna love it”.

Though record label Modular are keeping mum about release dates, music industry punters are expecting the new album to be out February 2014.
