New 'Dancing' starts soon…

Footy finals (and therefore footy fever in general) will be finished by the end of this month so it is now time, lads, to hand the remote back to your girlfriend / wife / BFF / any girl in the room who has been waiting ages for the new season of Dancing With The Stars to start.
September 30 is the date. Channel Seven is the station. And the lineup of celebs who’ll be sashaying and tangoing across the shiny floor is as eclectic as the show’s new judges.
Teaming up with fresh-faced and professional dancing company with be singer Ricki-Lee (pictured above), Olympic gold medallist Torah Bright, actress April Rose Pengilly (she’s Kurt from INXS’s daughter don’tchaknow?), Olympic swimmer Eamon Sullivan, NRL legend Matt Cooper (pictured below in buff calendar pose), AFL star David Rodan, and even ’70s pop idol Mark Holden dusting off his boogie shoes.
The show will be hosted by familiar face Daniel Macpherson (who, funnily enough, has been partaking in triathlon competitions leading up to this new season – not relevant; but interesting). Danny-Boy will be accompanied by co-host Edwina Bartholomew who will no doubt be more dressed to the nines than half the show’s stars, judging by the glitzy frocks we’ve seen in her promo photos so far. ‘Dancing With The Stars’ returns to Seven, 7.30pm, Tuesday 30 September.
