Linda Evangelista announced as judge on ‘Australia’s Next Top Model’

Who doesn’t remember that slack jaw and them dreamy eyes, as famous for their appearances in George Michael videos as they are staring out of magazine covers the world over.

Now the beholder of said jaw and eyes, Linda Evangelista, aka: the woman who “wouldn’t get out of bed for less than $10,000 a day”, is heading to Australia to be a mentor and judge on Australia’s Next Top Model.

Evangelista will arrive next week to commence shooting, and nobody appears more excited the Top Model host herself Jennifer Hawkins.

“Linda’s an icon in the modelling industry and a personal favourite of mine,” gushed Hawkins. “I’m so excited to have her on the show; our girls are going to learn so much from her.”

Let’s hope Hawkins isn’t so star-struck and lost for words when she actually has to introduce the gal on the show next week.  Lisa Andrews

As well as shooting her guest role on Australia’s Next Top Model, Linda will appear at Foxtel’s annual Upfront media event on October 30.
