Madonna gets them out again

Just when you thought she’d run out of shock imagery, Madonna is at it again, this time for a cover feature in Interview magazine.

The 56-year-old Material Girl appears on two alternative covers for Interview’s ‘Art Issue’ – in one she is pictured gagged, wearing a strange metal contraption over her face (but, still, that doesn’t stop her from sucking a daisy – go figure), and in another she is sleeping upright.

The images were taken by star photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, while the interview was hosted by magician-come-writer-of-sorts David Blaine.

Despite these rather ‘loud’ images, in the interview Madonna tells Blaine that she wouldn’t mind some stillness and quiet in her life:

“I feel like people are always talking to me, at me, asking things, questioning me, wanting information, work, music, loud noises, children — it’s endless. So the idea of a whole day of silence sounds very seductive to me.”

The Interview cover stories arrive just 24 hours after two new Madonna songs were leaked on the internet. Amongst the rest of the photographic gallery is an image of the mother-of-four with her breasts out and another with her hands near her nether regions.
