My all time favourite is a golden oldie. House of Wax starring Vincent Price was one of the first horror movies I ever saw and I will always remember it.

Stir of Echoes. A sign of a good horror is when you get too scared to turn off the lights. This one was the one that did it for me.

The Others with Nicole Kidman, far more than the typical horror movie, it’s intelligent, subtly poignant, gorgeously shot yet filled with an underlying terrifying dread

Saw – it’s not your ‘Scare’otypical slasher horror flick but more a cerebral, ‘Saw’t-provoking one which is infinitely much more frightening!
