Perth Arena number one in worldwide top venue chart

While it doesn’t boast the capacity of a sports stadium, and therefore sees the occasional huge artist skip playing Perth (thanks Madonna), Perth Arena is an impressive concert venue in its own right.
This month it was ranked the world’s top venue in the category of 10,000-15,000 capacity by reputable music magazine, Billboard.
The world’s longest established music publication, Billboard named Perth Arena the highest grossing of all arenas in Australia and Asia in 2014 based on total box office gross for concerts.
Since the venue opened in 2012, artists who have performed there include Elton John, The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, Michael Bublé, Katy Perry, Dolly Parton, Andrea Bocelli, Bruno Mars, Justin Timberlake and Queen & Adam Lambert. Antonino Tati
