Action-packed Asian Cup Final this Saturday on ABC

Who needs AFL, really, when you have a weekend of action-packed soccer to watch?
Fans of football in its original sense have plenty to look forward to when Australia’s Socceroos go head-to-head with South Korea in the Asian Cup Final this Saturday in Sydney, aired live nationally.
The match will be presented live on ABC TV from 7.30pm in NSW, Victoria, ACT and Tasmania, from 7pm in South Australia, from 6.30pm in Queensland, 6pm in Northern Territory, and from 4.30pm in Western Australia. It will simultaneously be broadcast live on ABC Radio and online at ABC iView.
Of course, commentary will continue courtesy of Stephanie Brantz, who’ll be joined by a panel of experts including former Socceroos stars Brett Emerton and Paul Okon, ABC Grandstand’s Gerard Whateley, along with live crosses direct from the field by Francis Leach.
This Saturday’s broadcast looks like seeing ratings go through the roof, judging by the popularity of last week’s presentation of the Quarter Final between Australia and China – which reached well over 1.8 million people.
