Comedienne Judith Lucy has fun with the sexes

Dry comedy doesn’t get much better than the arid humour of Judith Lucy. The doyenne of all things pop cultural / political / hilarious has returned to the ABC with her new show Judith Lucy Is All Woman.

The six-part series sees Lucy explore where women are at in modern Australia – and just what their varied current status means for men.

From the outback to the city, Judith jumps head-first into the subjects of sex, show business, politics, family, careers, even cougar life and cosmetic surgery.

She casually and professionally chats with people from all walks of life, all over the country, as she tries to work out if the battle of the sexes is still in progress and if so, who’s winning?

But don’t think this is all ball-breaker, post-feminist political guff. Some parts of this show are actually just plain funny, damn it.  Lisa Andrews
