It seems there’s a celebratory week for just about everything these days but what’s worth celebrating more than ‘World Class Cocktail Week’ when you can actually have a cocktail in your hand and celebrate doing so at the same time? That’s like a bird in the hand, really…

Anyhoo, World Class Cocktail Week is on this week and it’s anAustralian-wide celebration of all things shaken, stirred and muddled.

For the rest of this week until Sunday 31 May, a series of over 100  curated events will hosted by some of Australia’s best bars and restaurants honing in on the craft and beauty of the classic cocktail (or generally perfectly mixed drink, donchaknow).

From brunch clubs to leisurely lunches, cocktail master classes and tea parties with a twist, or even virtual bar tours, the week invites cocktail lovers and the uninitiated alike, into a world of finer drinking, dining and entertainment.
