Prominent clothier M. J. Bale chose Tasmania as the backdrop for its Winter 2015 collection – suitably titled ‘The Adventures Of A Well-Dressed Gentleman’ – not for any particular reason other than the state’s natural beauty being a perfect backdrop for the picture-perfect menswear label.

This season sees wax-finished, three-quarter-length trench coats hanging beside sturdy, water-resistant M-65 jackets, preparing the M. J. Bale man for the tougher elements to come.

Other standout pieces include woollen pea-coats, tweed suits, and cable knits and cardigans, all marrying cosiness with sheer class.
