THE NEW. RETRO. MODERN.

Good grief, Charlie Brown: another fabulous Peanuts film

PEANUTS

Fans of classic comics ought to rejoice at the news that The Peanuts Movie is set for release in Australia on November 7.

Also known as Snoopy and Charlie Brown in the United States, the film is a 3D computer-animated comedy produced by Blue Sky Studios and distributed by 20th Century Fox based, of course, on Charles M. Schulz‘s comic strip Peanuts.

It will be the fifth full-length feature film to be based on the comic, and the first feature film based on the characters in a whopping 35 years – commemorating the 65th anniversary of the comic strip.

Part of the film’s plot will see Snoopy going up against his nemesis the Red Baron, while Charlie Brown tries to win the affection of the Little Red-Haired Girl who just moved to the neighbourhood. Who said epic flicks on love and ware weren’t being made anymore?  Antonino Tati
