RuPaul's 'Drag Race Battle Of The Seasons' to tour Oz

Transgender iconography has never been more prominent in popular culture as it is right now. Forget Caitlyn Jenner and her ‘changing my gender but I don’t really want to sleep with men’ agenda, and consider the many drag artistes that have graduated from hit TV show RuPaul’s Drag Race.

These riot grrrrrrls are doing big things overseas, playing in clubs and even touring as groups to crowds that can’t get enough of the frocks and F-you bitchiness of it all.

Now one such tour is heading to our shores.

A cast of fabulous drag divas from RuPaul’s Drag Race will feature in the ‘Battle Of The Seasons’ tour, making its way to Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth.

Ready to set the stage alight with plenty of sequins and sashaying will be Adore Delano, Alaska Thunderfuck, Detox, Ivy Winters, Jinkx Monsoon, Manila Luzon, Sharon Needles and Violet Chachki.

The production will be hosted by Michelle Visage, and punters can expect plenty of bitching and backstabbing – along with a little ultimate camraderie, we’re sure.
