Sydney Symphony Orchestra to celebrate the legacy of Bowie

Bowie @2x

It’s never to soon to celebrate the genius that was (and still is in much spirit) David Bowie.

For this reason, we love that the Sydney Symphony Orchestra is celebrating the rich musical legacy of the man with a production titled David Bowie: Nothing Has Changed.

The production will see a host of Australian artists including Tim Rogers, Steve Kilbey, Deborah Conway and Adalita join the SSO in the Sydney Opera House on May 19 and 21 to perform hits from the Bowie cannon personally selected by the performers.

Fans can expect to hear some 30 songs running the gamut from Changes to China Girl, Life On Mars to Let’s Dance; hopefully even a couple of epics from Bowie’s last album Blackstar.

Helping keep some of history’s best music alive, then.  Antonino Tati
