THE NEW. RETRO. MODERN.

Hair today… and tomorrow!

Lakme @2x

Okay, I admit it, my hair has been thinning somewhat over the past year. My maternal grandparents both had thinning hair – but that was in their late 60s. I’m only… well, not in my 60s, and already I’m seeing the signs of a a bit of a bold patch up the back.

As it turns out, a month ago I came across a batch of minimally packaged products under the brandname of Lakme, each with the subtitle: K.Therapy Active.

In one full swag, I grabbed a Prevention Shampoo, Prevention Lotion, Fortifying Mask and something called a ‘Shock Concentrate Kit’.

Each product boasted an active component called ‘Procapil’ – a molecule supposedly very effective molecule in fighting hair loss. Yep, Einstein wouldn’t have believe it. A haircare regime that doesn’t require regular visits to some advanced hair studio to fix things up? That easy, huh?

Anyway, I am now three weeks into my regime of shampooing, conditioning, simple towel-drying, and then applying the treatments, and the results have been phenomenal. It’s like my hair has grown, yes, thicker, fuller, more textured – in just three short weeks!

There’s a reason for this apparent magic. First of all, the Procapil – in combination with olive leaves and various vitamins – helps stimulate, invigorate, cleanse and strengthen hair – all at once.

Add to a regular shampooing and conditioning regime, the occasional treatment courtesy of the hair mask and I started noticing more strength, texture and even extra shine.

I kid you not, if someone had told me that I’d have fuller looking hair in a matter of weeks simply by adding a couple of new products to my grooming regime, I’d have thought they were kidding.

Now I’m wanting a lifetime supply of this very good stuff.  Antonino Tati

Lakme K.Therapy products vary in price and start at RRP $35.95 each (eg: this being the RRP for the 300ml Active Shampoo). Products are available at quality haircare outlets, physical and online (eg: www.haircareaust.com).
