Banksy set to score half a mil for street art

British street artist Banksy is set to pocket around half a million dollars when a collection of his works – on walls, screen prints and other unorthodox media goes up for auction in the US next month.
A key item in the collection is ‘Happy Choppers’, an aerosol stencil featuring a military helicopter decorated with a pink hair-bow – which is expected to sell for one-hundred-and-fifty-thousand dollars alone.
The auction will take place in West Hollywood on April 29, and will also include works by Andy Warhol, Damien Hirst and Jeff Koons. Antonino Tati
