P!nk to release new single for 'Alice Through The Looking Glass'

If there’s one pop star who trips the light fantastic as good as Alice did in Wonderland, it’s P!nk.

The pop icon will release her new single Just Like Fire next week, and it’s the main tune lifted off the soundtrack to the new movie Alice Through The Looking Glass (note: P!nk has also recorded a cover song for the film – a trippy techno version of Jefferson Airplane’s White Rabbit).

The film itself, of course, is the sequel to Alice In Wonderland, seeing Johnny Depp return to his role as the Mad Hatter, Mia Wasikowska as Alice, Anne Hathaway as the butter-wouldn’t-melt White Queen, and Helena Bonham Carter as the bitch Red Queen.

While the film won’t be in Australian cinemas until May 26, keep an ear and eye out for the new P!nk song and video, available April 15 through Sony Music.  Lisa Andrews
