A cooler blend of culture

Here's Jonny!

GoT Jon Snow @2x

Following news that the premiere episode of ‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 6 broke Australian subscription television records – with 727,000 viewers tuning in last Monday to make it the most watched show in subscription telly history – we can now officially reveal that the second episode will indeed see Jon Snow returning.

Since July 2011, readers of the original books and viewers of the series have been in suspense about the fate of one of the series’ central characters who is also fondly known as the ‘Lord Commander of the Night’s Watch’.

Now, half a decade later, tonight’s episode of Game of Thrones, subtitled ‘Home’, resolves the cliffhanger in dramatic style.

Most fans knew Jon Snow wasn’t gone for good, and with the aid of Melisandre’s magic, he returns to life in the final moments of tonight’s episode.

Spoiler alert; schmoiler alert; admit it – you knew it was coming…  Lisa Andrews

‘Game of Thrones’ Season 6 screens tonight on primetime encore at 7.30pm AEST, only on Foxtel’s Showcase.
