Food for the heart and soul

Perth socialites can dine for a quality cause on July 29, when Crown Perth hosts its annual Variety of Chefs. The event will see a host of chefs coming together to create a captivating degustation that’s sure to impress even the most ardent foodie.
Home-cook heroes will also have an opportunity to learn from the best, with award-winning professionals – including My Kitchen Rules judge Colin Fassnidge – taking to the stage to share their culinary secrets.
The evening will be hosted by Lachy Reid and Pip O’Connell, who are sure to keep spirits high. There will also be live music provided by party band Proof, and enough food and drink to satisfy inexhaustible appetites.
But the event is about more than just fun; it’s about raising funds for Variety, that charity that assists sick and disadvantaged children in WA, getting them the equipment and support they need. As well as bringing their appetites, diners are encouraged to bring a generous heart.
Tables of ten start at $2,750. For more information about the event or to secure your table, visit: www.varietyofchefs.com.au. Chris Prindiville
