A cool blend of contemporary & retro culture

Where the streets have nice names…

Subiaco has enjoyed a reputation for being one of Perth’s prettiest inner-city suburbs ever since the area was settled by Italian Benedictine monks in 1851. And with a host of new businesses having opened shop along the likes of Rokeby Road, Forrest Walk and Churchill Avenue, the ol’ Subi favourites are in good company.

Celebrate all that is brilliant about Subi at the Subiaco Street Party this Saturday 8th April, from 3pm-10pm, and soak up a whole lot of music, food, drink, live art, fashion and other entertainment.

Festivities will take place along Rokeby Road and surrounding side streets and laneways with a program packed with free entertainment and activity.

There’ll be live music, roving performers, food stalls, pop-up bars, street vendors, even carnival rides and a Latin corner propped up on the corner of Rokeby and Hay.

For the full list of acts performing on the day, and to check out the activities on offer, visit www.subiaco.wa.gov.au/subiacostreetparty and lock it in your calendar.  Antonino Tati
