RuPaul leads a star-studded cast for the 2018 Pirelli Calendar (with a dandy Alice In Wonderland theme)

RuPaul leads a star-studded all-black cast of artists, actors and models posing for Pirelli’s 2018 calendar in a fairy tale-themed series of images shot by esteemed photographer Tim Walker.

Other celebs include Naomi Campbell, Whoopie Goldberg, Lupita Nyong’o and Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, each dressed as a vibrant character from the Alice In Wonderland storybook series.

Naturally, RuPaul has been given the lead role of Queen of Hearts, resplendent in an OTT red satin gown decorated to the Nth degree in accoutrements, and flanked by card-carrying guards.

Lupita Nyong’o is in costume as the Dormouse, while Sean Combs and Naomi Campbell pose as the Royal Beheaders (and you know Ru cannot wait to give that instruction ‘Off with their heads’).

No sign yet who is playing the Mad Hatter, or Alice for that matter, but we’ll let you know when we do.  Antonino Tati
