WIN! Double passes to see the remake of classic horror flick ‘It’

Stephen King’s deranged killer clown, Pennywise, returns once more – this time to terrorise the big screen, and little and big kids alike. And judging by the trailers, the experience looks set to be even more unnerving.

Director Andres Muschietti showcases a truly startling visual style that is sure to have audiences cowering in their seats.

The plot and setting appear familiar: kid loses paper-boat, goes chasing after it, encounters freaky clown, well… you know the deal.

But there are so many more quirks to this current incarnation of one of horror’s creepiest monsters.

In keeping with the times, the modern It even appears to delve into a little drag (watch for the projector scene in the trailer above) while the horrid creature seems to be able to shapeshift at will. But we’ll have to wait to see the full flick to know if Pennywise does indeed possess any new powers.

One thing’s for sure: whether it be screams of delight or horror, the experience of watching It looks certain to be a haunting one.

 

‘It’ will be released nationwide in Australia on September 7.
