In the world of Twitter, who you follow is often quite telling.
And thanks to the efforts of one curious Twitter user, it seems that massive, worldwide corporations are just as picky as the rest of us when it comes to deciding who to follow on social media.
As Twitter handle @edgette22 noted on Thursday, the fast-food giant KFC only follows 11 people ― the five former members of the Spice Girls, and… six men named Herb.
Having long marketed its chicken as the product of a secret recipe with “11 herbs and spices”, KFC’s assembled 11-person Twitter crew has been hailed as a stroke of PR genius.
And with more and more business being done online these days, KFC’s marketing approach looks, well, finger-lickin’ good. Chris Prindiville
