The Presets join Splendour bill, Chromeo cancel

Aussie electro favourites, The Presets, join the Splendour in the Grass bill while Chromeo cancel.

Splendour in the Grass has just received news that Chromeo is no longer able to make it to Australia for the big gig or their sideshow dates.

“Unfortunately, the rigors of touring have caught up with us and we need to prioritise our health and wellbeing,” wrote Dave and Pee of Chromeo. “We’re being told that this period would be best served as a time to rest.”

But the good news is, there’s a new addition to the Splendour lineup in the form of favourite Aussie EDM outfit, The Presets.

Yay, yay, yay, we say.

Hot off their sold-out Hi Viz tour that wrapped up on the weekend, The Presets are nicely warmed up to present familiar favourites (Talk Like That, Are You The One?) and brand newies (Downtown Shutdown has been on regular rotation in the Cream office these past few weeks).

This year’s Splendour bill is way impressive, as we’ve mentioned previously. Topping the bill are Kendrick Lamar, Lorde, Vampire Weekend, Khalid, Chvrches, Hilltop Hoods, Girl Talk, Miguel, Angus & Julia Stone, MGMT, Franz Ferdinand… phew!
