Even better than surreal thing
An immersive exhibition celebrating the work of surrealist master Salvador Dalí is being staged in Perth between January 18 to February 17, 2019, and will coincide nicely with the wild and wonderful Fringe Festival.
Metro City will be transformed into a four-level temple dedicated to the surreal…
For 30 days, Metro City – once predominantly an R’n’B venue, now a blank canvas for great events such as this – will be transformed into a four-level temple dedicated to the surreal, designed by art curator Robert Buratti.
Featuring over 200 works including drawings, sculptures, film, graphics, and even virtual reality, Dali Land will also play host to a nightly program of live events and performances including a gig by Lily Allen and a ‘Dali After Dark’ series.
There’ll also be a ‘Dada Cinema’ where art lovers can enjoy some of the most influential surrealist films of our time.
So, what are you waiting for? Time is, uh, melting. Get your tickets quick.

‘Dali Land’ is on at Metro City, 146 Roe Street, Northbridge.
Exhibition is open daily from 11am – 7pm (sessions booked in advance), with etertainment nightly from 7.30pm – 5am.
