The ‘X’ Factor: Xbox teams up with Lynx to create a range of products targeting avid gamers
In what we at the Cream office feel is a bit of an odd pairing, Xbox has teamed with deodorant brand Lynx to create a range of personal care products targeting avid gamers.
The Lynx Xbox range is being promoted with the slogan ‘Lift Your Game’ and includes body spray, deodorant and shower gel.
Try as you might to diss Lynx as some middle-shelf hygiene product, the brand has been doing a dandy good job at diversifying its market.
The scents are actually a rather nice-smelling combination of citruses, featuring top notes of kaffir lime and winter lemon, with middle notes of mint and sage, and bottom notes of patchouli and something called clearwood.
Try as you might to diss Lynx as some middle-shelf hygiene product, the brand has been doing a dandy good job at diversifying its market, with the Xbox collaboration joining Lynx’s many subsidiary collections – Africa, Anarchy, Apollo, Black, Black Night, Dark Temptation, Excite, Gold Temptation, Ice Chill, Legend, Peace, Voodoo and You.

The Lynx Xbox range of products will hit stores in July.
