Creature comforts: Cosying up at home and winning…

With more and more socialising happening from the home, from Skype to FaceTime to communal video gaming – and with the majority of us happy to communicate online rather than the old-school face-to-face way – it’s no surprise we’re also doing a little betting from the comfort of our couch.

‘Cocooning’, or that idea that we’re more content cosying up in a familiar environment rather than being out and about surrounded by strangers, becomes a particularly popular phenomenon in the winter months, but even in summer we’re enjoying the AC indoors while on our PC more than sweating it outside.

You can keep track of your favourite sports without stepping foot out of your own yard, even complete an entire degree in communications without physical contact with the outside world.

You could be in Alice Springs while having a dabble with online casinos in Canada or be going head-to-head in a game of Civilization with someone the other side of the globe.. and never once meet folks face-to-face.

You can keep track of your favourite sports without stepping foot out of your own yard, even complete an entire degree in communications without physical contact with the outside world. You can even try to make your own winning history via a betting site such as Dreamz.

While you might break out into the occasional FOMO fret, you’ll get used to your own company. In fact some might say their own company is the best there is!
