Tones And I takes out the top prize in the 2020 International Songwriting Competition

The reputable US-based International Songwriting Competition (or ISC) has announced its 2019 winners, and Australian songwriters did extremely well this year, with Tones And I winning the Grand Prize for her song Dance Monkey, along with additional songwriters garnering three First Place wins, four Second Place wins, six Third Place wins, and 44 Honorable Mentions.

Moreover, Australia has the most wins in the world, second only to the USA. And that’s big biccies.

The panel of judges included members of Coldplay, Tom Waits, Kevin Gates, American Authors,  Kristian Bush (Sugarland), and Avery Lipman (Founder/President, Republic Records).
