Games without frontiers: Powerhouse Museum to celebrate all manner of gaming for one night only
Powerhouse Museum is bringing together the games community for one night only with its mammoth event Powerhouse Late: Gaming – celebrating Australian game innovation via live performances, developer showcases, tabletop arenas and immersive experiences.
Powerhouse will transform into a hub for game enthusiasts, exploring its archival game collection and bringing together the local gaming community for a night of gameplay, arcade gaming, tabletop games, live performances and talks.
Highlights include listening to scores performed live by Australian game composers, immersing yourself through play in the town of Wood & Weather by Paper House, previewing The Dungeon Experience with Jacob Janerka and Simon Boxer, and playing the premiere demo of Macabre by Weforge Studio.
There’ll be plenty of mini talks and discussions helmed by the likes of Elissa Black, Fuzzy Ghost, Leigh Harris from Riot Games, Dom Parker from Vision Australia, Mot Reyd from Awesome Black, and a host of others that are in the know and on the cutting edge of game creation and innovation.
