THE NEW. RETRO. MODERN.

Kylie Minogue announced as Splendour in the Grass headliner and is rumoured to be recording a duet with Madonna

While she’s renowned for her catchy brand of pop, Kylie Minogue regularly lets her indie flag fly, this year taking part in the Splendour in the Grass music festival.

Splendour returns to Ngarindjin / North Byron Parklands from Friday 19 July to Sunday 21 July for three days of camping out, music, art exploration, and general chilling out.

Splendour returns to Ngarindjin / North Byron Parklands from Friday 19 July to Sunday 21 July for three days of camping out, music, exploring art and generally just chilling out. This will be Kylie’s first appearance on the Splendour bill and she’s in great company, with the likes of indie rockers Arcade Fire, psychedelic popsters Pond, mumble-rap pioneer Future, indie darling Tash Sultana, and many more. See the full lineup below.

But back to the princess of pop; Kylie recently appeared on stage with Madonna as part of Madge’s Celebration Tour, paying tribute to International Women’s Day.

Since this on-stage appearance there have been rumours that Kylie and Madonna will be recording a duet together – with Kylie hinting at it herself. This is something fans of both artists have been very keen to hear for some time and ought to do wonders keeping them both on the cred map.
