Giving your head a good thorough cleanse

When it comes to hair care, people often seem to stick to one brand – that product or range of products from the one manufacturer that truly works wonders for your scalp and hair. And why wouldn’t you stick to the tried and tested, after years of shopping around for the perfect solution to maintaining one of your most visible physical assets?

Recently, I figured my hair needed more than just the daily shampooing and so tried the MONAT Scalp Purifying Scrub which promised to deeply cleanse and purify the scalp while leaving hair soft and manageable.

Actually a 2-in-1 scrub and shampoo, it’s actually a very handy product and easy to sneak into your usual hair care regime.

Using the mini spatula in the pack or your fingers, scoop out some the size of a 50 cent coin and emulsify with a sprinkle of water in your hands. Massage into the scalp and let it lather gently throughout the hair. After about three or four minutes, rinse out thoroughly and follow with a suitable conditioner.
