New trailer for ‘The Penguin’ just dropped and this sh!t is looking dark…
Binge has just dropped the new teaser for hotly anticipated drama series, The Penguin, starring Colin Farrell in full makeover as Oz Cobb (aka ‘The Penguin’).
The eight-episode series will follow The Penguin’s rise to power in Gotham City’s criminal underworld, packed with all manner of seedy mafioso types.
The series will stream in September, and will feature a cast that includes Cristin Milioti, Rhenzy Feliz, Michael Kelly, Shohreh Aghdashloo, James Madio and Theo Rossi.
From what we’ve seen so far, Farrell’s treatment of the big bad bird is even darker than Burgess Meredith’s portrayal of the Penguin in William Dozier’s ABC TV series and 1966 spinoff film.
Ahead of premiere, fans of The Batman universe can catch up on films such as Batman Begins and The Dark Knight available to stream now on Binge.
