Beatles fan photoshops what the Fab Four might look like in new biopics
By now you’ve probably read that director Sam Mendes is in pre-production stages for, not one, but four films about The Beatles. Each film will be a separate biopic about John, Paul, George and Ringo, and each from that Beatle’s point of view.
“I’m honoured to be telling the story of the greatest rock band of all time, and excited to challenge the notion of what constitutes a trip to the movies,” said Mendes, the Oscar-nominated filmmaker behind American Beauty, and the James Bond films Skyfall and Spectre.
Many have bandied about names of actors that might be suitable to play each of the Fab Four, and these have been filtered down to: Harris Dickinson to reportedly play John Lennon, alongside Paul Mescal as Paul McCartney, Charlie Rowe as George Harrison, and Barry Keoghan as Ringo Starr.
Sony Films has greenlit all four films, each feature to focus on a different member of the band. Production is scheduled to begin next year for a 2028 release.
And one Beatles fan, Héctor Macías, has taken it upon himself to imagine what the selected actors might look like in Beatles makeup and garb. Not a bad look, if I do say so myself.
