This Saturday is celebrated as ‘World Rum Day’ and luxe rum brand Diplomático intends on continuing celebrations until the end of July.

Diplomático Rum is offering complimentary cocktail to patrons in over 40 of Australia’s best bars, each venue serving up concoctions featuring Diplomático Reserva Exclusiva as its key ingredient.

The history of Diplomático began in Venezuela in 1959, with the establishment of the distillery where all of its rums are still being produced.

The brand’s rums are made from sugar cane, molasses and various honeys, which are fermented with the distillery’s own strain of yeast. They produce blends of dark and light rums aged from two to twelve years.
