The Good Food and Wine Show on in Perth

One of Australia’s longest-running foodie events, the Good Food and Wine Show, is on again in Perth this weekend.
Molecular gastronomy, pop-up restaurants, artisanal foods: what were once considered too exotic, strange or sophisticated for ordinary tastes in Australia have now become very much to our taste and the popularity of food and wine shows like this one are testament to that.
Held at the Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre until Sunday 21 July, the Good Food and Wine Show 2024 will present the best food, wine and spirits Australia has to offer, from the Barossa to Margaret River.
Locals and interstate visitors will be able to make their way through over 200 exhibitors, from the finest wine to the creamiest cheese, as well as learning a bunch of recipes in a series of masterclasses taught by some of Australia’s best celebrity chefs.

Of course, the celebrity chef line-up is a major drawcard and includes kitchen luminaries like Kirsten Tibballs (the queen of all things chocolate and pastries), Emelia Jackson (2024 Dessert Masters judge and winner of Masterchef 2024), Miguel Maestre (TV personality celebrated for his infectious energy and passion for food, and Jane De Graaf (kitchen hack queen and respected foodie).
So skip the Saturday dinner out and Sunday family roast, and head on down to the PCEC for some gloriously good offerings.
The Good Food & Wine Show runs from July 19-21 at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre. An overview along with ticketing information can be found at www.goodfoodshow.com.au/perth.
