Batman gets the symphonic orchestra treatment

Did you know there’s actually a ‘World Batman Day’, this year falling on September 21st.
Coinciding nicely with this… well, a month or so after, is a new symphonic production, Batman – Live In Concert which combines live symphony orchestras with iconic visuals of the 1989 blockbuster film, directed by Tim Burton.
This unique experience, part of the DC in Concert global series, is a multi-sensory event. Picture this: the movie projected on a giant screen, with every dramatic note of Danny Elfman’s Grammy-nominated score performed live by some of Australia’s most renowned orchestras, from Melbourne’s Australian Pops Orchestra to Sydney’s The Metropolitan Orchestra.
With Batman celebrating his 85th anniversary in 2024, this event is set to be one of the year’s most anticipated highlights.
The tour kicks off in Melbourne on October 24 and will travel through Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane, Hobart, and Sydney before ending on January 10, 2025. Tickets are available to purchase via Ticketek.
