Mmmm… Maggi packing multiculture back into their noodles

Maggi Noodles has now gone beyond being the staple of backpackers and unemployed students. Instead it’s reaching broader markets with better taste – appreciators of a little multicultural fusion in their humble noodle product.
In fact, Maggi offer a ‘Fusian’ range including such orient-inspired delights as Mi Goreng Soy & Mild and Mi Goreng Hot & Spicy flavoured noodles.

Or for a more Indian flavour, you might like to track down Maggi’s Kari flavoured and, yes, there’s a reason its name sounds like ‘curry’.
And speaking of multiculture, we can’t forget our good ol’ Aussie roots. So Maggi have introduced Vegemite flavoured noodles. You may have tried Smiths Vegemite-tinged crisps, a Vegemite icy pole, or even Cadbury Vegemite chocolate, all of which – we agree – were kind of off the mark. But Vegemite flavoured noodles are actually very yummy.
The tasty collaboration combines two pantry staples for what could be the ultimate Aussie bowl of noodles. I liked the taste so much, I actually added a boost of Vegemite from the jar.

So forget your difficult-to-make ramens and soba dishes, these are the simple two-minute dishes that’ll really tantalise the taste buds.
Maggie two-minute noodles in Fusion Mi Goreng and Vegemite flavours are now available from Coles and Woolworths in 5x 65gram packets for $5.
