THE NEW. RETRO. MODERN.

New (short) season of American Horror Stories to feature Henry ‘The Fonz’ Winkler, plus is it true AHS Season 13 will be the last in the franchise?

The latest teaser trailer for American Horror Stories has dropped and while it doesn’t give too much away, the new season of the famed anthology looks scary as hell.

From boogeymen in basements to bloodsuckers in backrooms, five tales will be told over five episodes only, keeping your passion for horror satiated through Halloween season.

The short season’s cast doesn’t consist of many “name” names unless you’re familiar with the likes of Michael Imperioli, Debby Ryan, Victor Garber, Dyllón Burnside, and June Squibb.

There is one name that stands out from a mile away and that is Henry Winkler – he who is most famous for his role as ‘The Fonz’ in Happy Days way back when, and who also played high school principal Arthur Himbry in Scream.

As for the more serious of series in Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk’s horror oeuvre, American Horror Story Season 13 looks like being the last one we’ll see, set to premiere next year. No official word yet on who will star in it, although there has been expressed interest from two of the franchises’ main actors, Evan Peters and Sarah Paulson.

Said Paulson recently to Deadline magazine, “I think there is a big chance that I will return to American Horror Story. I’ve got everything crossed [and] I would like to do it more than anything. It’s my home. It’s where I started.”

Paulson continued, “I got to play seven different characters in seven years, which, as an actor, is the most exciting, thrilling thing, and [it] also allows an audience to be ready for anything you’re going to do because they’re not attached to one thing you do, specifically. That has given me a lot of career flexibility.”

The new (short) season of ‘American Horror Stories’ premieres October 15 on Hulu and should also be coming to Disney internationally.
