Charli XCX announced as the headline act for Laneway Festival 2025

Who said music festivals have all but dried up. They’re lying. The hotly anticipated Laneway Festival is back next year and the 2025 lineup is an awesome one.

The headliner is none other than Charli XCX, who has been so busy lately – making an indie movie, remixing her brat album (for October release) and doing so many interviews, I’m surprised she can find the time.

Charli will return to Australia (and New Zealand) to perform exclusively at Laneway Festival. In celebration of the pop brat’s return, several national landmarks will turning brat green over the next couple of days. Now that’s what we call a star making her mark.

Joining the 365 party girl is British bedroom pop rock icon Beabadoobee, fellow Laneway alumni, the eternally charming Clairo, one of the biggest names in UK dance, BICEP, who present their new AV DJ show CHROMA, alternative pop queen Remi Wolf, and dance floor euphoria expert Barry Can’t Swim.

With music discovery at its core, 100% of the Laneway Festival lineup has released new music this year, and a third of the lineup will tour Australia for the very first time. The debutants are British neo-soul star Olivia Dean, heavy hitting LA shoe-gazers julie, hip hop’s most energetic new arrival Joey Valence & Brae, NYC’s most in-demand band Fcukers, UK dubstep DJ Hamdi and the enigmatic electropop artist 2hollis.
