Robert Gordon get on board with frozen yogurt brand Yo-Chi plus 3 new venues opening in WA
When I look around my living room or am pottering around in the kitchen, I see a lot of Robert Gordon ceramics going on. A reputable name in ceramic-making (potters since 1945, in fact), it’s there on the bookshelf beneath the skull-print vase made in collab with artist David Bromley; ditto, there on a set of sturdy coffee coasters, same shelf.

Pieces of Gordon are also there in the crockery cupboard, big fat mugs emblazoned with bursts of brilliant colour; and there on the wall, ceramic butterflies stamped with, well, butterflies. I think I might be responsible for a good portion of the Robert Gordon Co’s takings these past couple of financial years.
Now comes news that the Robert Gordon brand has gone on to collaborate with fresh, quality frozen yogurt brand, Yo-Chi, and that it has gone decidedly minimalist for this particular venture, creating a cool ceramic bowl that’s perfect for filling with your favourite breaky cereal, of for packing leftovers for tomorrow’s take-to-work lunch.

The bowl is pristine white and its dimensions are based on Yo-Chi’s iconic paper bowl – the ones you love to fill with your favourite frozen yogurts and toppings at your local Yo-Chi store. It’s simple in design, obviously easy to clean, and comes with its own seal and is easily stackable.
Speaking of going in-store, WA is in for a treat this summer with Yo-Chi announcing three new venues to open in under a month.

The rapid expansion will result in a total of 9 locations across the state before the year’s end, with Currambine opening its doors on November 28, followed by Forrest Chase and Whitford City launching before Christmas. That’s a lot of good yogurt and toppings to sample!

The Robert Gordon / Yo-Chi bowl is available to purchase from yochi.com.au. Orders will be dispatched from December 2nd.
