The Papa Paloma: a perfect cocktail for the scorching Perth heat

If you appreciate a quality gin, you’ll quickly fall in love with Papa Salt Coastal Gin, which was created by actress Margot Robbie and four of her gin-living friends. These guys got together with the key mission of coming up with a gin that would complement any soda or tonic, while also making a mean martini. Fifty-nine recipes, and many joy-filled sunny afternoons later, they presented Australians with Papa Salt.
Having enjoyed cocktails that included the good drop, we discovered that Papa Salt is no ordinary gin.
Its ingredients include hibiscus and citrus peel, zesty wax flower and nutty wattleseed from the Australian outback, along with pink peppercorn for bite, and a hint of mineral in the form of crushed oyster shell. Yes, you read right!

In the hot summer heat here in Perth, we turned to the following recipe for a delicious Papa Paloma cocktail:
Ingredients
60ml Papa Salt Coastal Gin
30ml fresh lime juice
Pink grapefruit soda
Rosemary salt (dried rosemary blitzed with sea salt)
Dab the rim of a chilled tall glass into the rosemary salt. In a cocktail shaker combine ice, Papa Salt Coastal Gin, and lime juice. Shake well and then pour over prepared glass with cubed ice. Top with pink grapefruit soda and garnish with a rosemary stem. Easy, and oh-so delicious.
