A funny little conversation about weed between The Beatles and Bob Dylan

On August 28, 1964, The Beatles, including their manager Brian Epstein, were in a hotel room with Bob Dylan, and casually offered Dylan some amphetamine packed into purple heart-shaped pills.
Dylan declined and instead proffered that The Beatles smoke a joint with him.
Brian Epstein (on behalf of The Beatles): “We’ve never smoked marijuana before.”
Bob Dylan (turning to The Beatles): “But what about your song? The one about getting high?”
John Lennon: “Which song?”
Dylan: “You know… And when I touch you I get high, I get high, I get high…”
Lennon: “Those aren’t the words; the words are “I can’t hide, I can’t hide, I can’t hide”.
They all smoked the joint and The Beatles spent the next few hours in unending laughter, looked upon with amusement by Dylan. Meanwhile, Brian Epstein kept saying, “I’m so high I’m on the ceiling. I’m up on the ceiling.”
The rest, as they say, is history.
