THE NEW. RETRO. MODERN.

More guest stars announced for Supanova 2025 including Billy Zane: the rundown for Sydney and Perth events here

Above: Billy Zane contemplating what to pack for his trip down under... Nah, he's actually dressed and made up as Marlon Brando in 'The Godfather' (ie: starring in a Brando biopic) just to confuse you all, but will indeed be appearing at Supanova Comic Con Sydney (and, hopefully, fingers crossed, update the itinerary please, Perth).

In case you've had your head stuck in an attic or basement, the 'Ghost Who Walks', Billy Zane, is back to slam evil next month. Best known for his titular performance in The Phantom, as well as having played Caledon Hockley in epic classic flick Titanic, Zane recently starred as another Hollywood heavyweight in Waltzing with Brando. Zane is slated to appear at Sydney Supanova with possible plans – fingers majorly crossed – to come to Perth, too.

To other guest stars at this year's Supanova events. Co-starring as Madame Leroy in the 2024 biographical drama, Tia Carrere will make her first-ever appearance at the convention in Sydney. Striking a chord with fans as Cassandra Wong in Wayne’s World and its hit sequel, Carrere can also be heard as Lilo’s sister, Nani, in Disney’s Lilo & Stitch, reuniting with her Ohana in the upcoming live-action film as Mrs. Kekoa.

Due to exciting new filming commitments, Katee Sackhoff will now appear exclusively in Sydney; while Perth fans may be disappointed, there’s good news for those who follow the Way of the Mandalore – as Star Wars legend Temuera Morrison will be joining us exclusively in Perth, alongside his Star Wars and Once Were Warriors co-star Rena Owen, set to appear in both cities.

Pictured: Temuera Morrison, star of Star Wars' 'Way of the Mandalore' will be appearing exclusively at Perth Supanova.

Longmire fans aren't missing out either, with the titular sheriff himself, Robert Taylor, saddling up for the tour alongside co-stars Sackhoff and Adam Bartley. Robert’s previous roles include Jackson Gibbs in NCIS: Origins, and Agent Jones in the seminal sci-fi film The Matrix.

Returning to Supanova’s local legends line-up is Australian icon John Jarratt, Wolf Creek’s Mick Taylor; his The Possessed co-star, Lincoln Lewis; The Hobbit Trilogy’s Bombur, Stephen Hunter; as well as Sydney-exclusive Alex Proyas, the legendary director of The Crow and Dark City.

Sydney fans can get their game on with voice actor Jay Anthony Franke, best known as J.C. Denton in the BAFTA-winning Deus Ex. He’s joined by two of Australia’s own rapidly rising talents including Allanah Fitzgerald, who recently starred in Glitch Productions’ The Gaslight District as Melancholy Hill, and their ghostly co-star John Whinfield, who portrays Mud and Jack.

Finally, literature lovers may have already read that BookTok sensation and author of the Powerless Trilogy, Lauren Roberts, will also be appearing in both cities, with additional evening events scheduled for Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne courtesy of Simon & Schuster.

These Supa-Stars join an already Supa-Star-studded line-up, featuring Outlander’s David Berry, Richard Rankin, and Sam Heughan, the latter of whom will attend exclusively as part of Kilted & Distilled: An Outlandish Adventure in Oz; the cast of Critical Role exclusively in Sydney; Doctor Who’s Alex Kingston, plus so many more!

General Admission and Kilted & Distilled tickets to both cities are on sale now, along with strictly limited VIP and Supa-Q Passes for Perth. Autograph and Photograph Tokens will go on sale closer to June, with Sam Heughan’s available now, restricted to Kilted & Distilled Pass holders.
