THE NEW. RETRO. MODERN.

Catch cats and kittens doing clever, cunning and very cute things at Cat Video Fest 2025

Cats are such beautiful, awe-inspiring creatures, it’s no wonder they are one of the top subjects people choose to search for on platforms such as YouTube and TikTok.

Folks just love to watch clips of cats and kittens doing the darnedest things. Indeed, these creatures so beautiful and gloriously awe-inspiring that they truly deserve to be viewed on screens far bigger than your mobile phone’s.

That’s where Cat Video Fest comes into the picture: a festival committed to bringing the joy of cat videos and short films to cat-loving audiences, meanwhile doing good things to help cats in need.

A compilation reel of the latest and best cat videos culled from countless hours of unique submissions and sourced animations, music clips, and classic internet powerhouses, Cat Video Fest 2025 is a joyous communal experience that plays only in cinemas and raises money for cat shelters to best serve cats in the local area.

Luna Cinemas in Leederville, Luna on SX, and the Windsor have teamed up with Cat Haven – WA’s largest shelter for homeless, lost and abused cats – to present this year’s mini festival of film and video clips. The cinemas have promised 10% of box office takings from the festival to Cat Haven itself, and that sounds purrrfect to us.

See the video above, or details below for where and when the fest is playing, and enjoy an itinerary of cats and kittens doing all manner of clever, cunning and very cute things.

On fur a limited time only. (See what I did there?).
