THE NEW. RETRO. MODERN.

For those about to rock (or indulge in other music genres) make some noise for the Sydney Guitar Show 2026

After a decade as Melbourne’s beloved guitar-nerd paradise, the Guitar Show is now heading north, landing at Sydney Showground on March 7 and 8, 2026 for two great days of showing off gear, promoting gigs, and presenting workshops and absolute joy for all music lovers.

Whether you shred, strum, noodle, admire from a distance or haven’t touched a fretboard since high school, the Sydney Guitar Show is built for every kind of player and every level of obsession. Expect 80+ brands, plenty of indie bands, hands-on displays, iconic names, multiple stages, surprise sessions and enough pedals to make your head happily spin.

This year will see some fresh new spaces to explore including the ‘Make Music Room’ featuring songwriting and playing workshops; The Studio – a hub for home recording, pro audio and content-making; and Pedal Party – a wonderland of Australian pedal makers curated by Pedal Empire.

Music lovers are encouraged to get in early and book tickets. And, if you have a friend that simply lives for all things music, you can purchase early bird gift tix from now until Christmas day at guitarshow.au/tickets.
