WIN! An LG xboom Grab designed by will.i.am

The LG xboom Grab is a portable speaker designed by rap star singer/songwriter will.i.am and its a speaker worth shouting about!
This beaut portable Bluetooth speaker gets going in seconds after you’ve downloaded the app and pushed one button, giving out warm, balanced, bass-forward sound whose engineering has been approved by will.i.am himself.
There’s a definite lack of muddiness to the audio – no matter what genre you’re tuning into. It’s as if some kind of mastering were happening as each track passed through it.
We played the Editor’s newly crafted “sci-fi lullaby” just posted on YouTube recently, and every nuance, every reverb, every audio Easter Egg, gets the recognition it deserves says he (we’re still picking up on a few clever nuggets as we tune in and type).

The Beatles, Pink Floyd, U2, Eurythmics, Tori Amos, Art of Noise – all feature in said track and all pass the quality sound test through the xboom so it’s not just good for bass tracks – it pretty much flatters genres across the board.
This speaker is clearly tuned for everyday listening rather than just volume. You wouldn’t take it to the house party to brag about a new track you’re currently streaming. But you’d bring it to the beach, the picnic, wherever smooth grooves and good vibes are encouraged.

The rugged, IP67 design and handy strap make it ideal for travel or outdoor use, while battery life easily lasts a full day. Plus, it’s water and dust resistant, supposedly having passed seven military-standard tests (and will.i.am would likely have asked for the bar to have been raised high!).
LG xboom Grab by will.i.am is available from quality electronic outlets including Betta and Bing Lee, RRP $229.
